MBA Work-Study

Let’s face it: most full-time MBA students aren’t going to be able to participate in work-study programs while they’re in school.  I just can’t see handling the workload at Wharton while holding down a fry cook job at Denny’s.

Work-study jobs are available, though, at virtually every B-school.  They're funded by both the federal government and the school itself.  And depending on your school and the nature of the job, you might be able to handle the workload and a part-time job at the same time.  Just be careful about your first semester at school.  It’s always very demanding, so try not to schedule too much work.

And by the way, most work-study jobs are on campus, not at places like Denny’s.  You’ll find that a lot of the available jobs are in the business school itself.

MBA Financial Aid
Meet Thurston, the MBA financial aid dog. Financial aid is available to almost everyone in B-school, whether you need it or not.

Of course, most of it is loans, but that's better than riding your desk for another year.
